3D Experience at Copthill School

A very unique and wonderful day for us today as we spent the day at one of the local junior schools. We took our virtual reality system with us along with our 360 degree camera, 3d scanner, printer and pens giving the children a real taste of technology both now and in the future.
A huge thank you to our volunteers who came and made the day really special.

Hi there, it must have been a wonderful time for the children, to see this tec. in realty, it is the sort of experience that many older people would get a lot of knowledge from, and maybe help to understand why the children of today, think differently and in many cases get so far ahead of their parents. Maybe I am being to serious, but the older population now have great difficulty in keeping up with modern life, when it should be the other way around, if you get what I mean. I am 80 years old and come from Gedney near Holbeach, our schooling was a long way from the approach today, but at least all the population understood what life was about, and no one was left behind with understanding how to survive. Hi Geoff, thanks for the feedback, as I said earlier, when you get to the dizzy heights of 80,years or so is difficult to keep up with the new idea’s that are around these days’ and if you don’t you can soon miss out on many important changes from Council notices, even Gov. notices, because no one will tell you what has changed until it is too late. If you live in the country and have no transport of your own, things get even more of a problem, even with pensions ETC, with all the closures of banks and post offices.
as for travelling far these days, the pace of life and is a frighten experience and not to be undertaken alone.
I mentioned that I came from Gedney many moons ago, and I have seen many things around the world, having lived in Australia for 4 years in the 1960’s which was real eye opener in those days, many stories !.
Thanks again for your feedback. Barry j d Wilson
